I can't say enough great things about Il Pirata... my favorite Italian Restaurant! I first started going to Il Pirata in 1983 when it was in Schrollbach and we moved there because my Dad got stationed at Ramstein when I was a sophomore in high school. Ramstein is where my parents retired and is "home" for me and Il Pirata is a big part of that, as I try to come home twice a year. It had moved to Niedermohr where I celebrated many birthdays and times around the Christmas holidays. I was sad to hear when they closed, but thrilled when they recently opened again in Ramstein Miesenbach. I just went 10 June 2025 and of course had my favorite pizza (mit Pilze und Salami). I am headed back on Saturday for pasta and I am sure will visit a few more times before I leave Germany. As with most anywhere, these days good help is hard to find so it was just the owner and her server on Tuesday but they got it done... the food, service and atmosphere was wonderful as usual!

Highly recommend this place food is definitely Italian. The food tasted delicious and it was presented nicely. The staff was very friendly fast and courteous always on point trying to take care of all of our needs. This establishment accepts, credit cards and debit cards.

Excellent across the board! The food is top notch Italian with a homemade style and the drinks a perfect accompaniment! Wonderful atmosphere with open layout and excellent decor balances comfort and aesthetics. 20/10 would come again!

We stayed at hotel Europa, a highly recommended hotel in Ramstein Miesenbach, just a two minute walk from Il Pirada Restaurante and Pizzaria. Thanks to Jessica, owner of Hotel Europa's high recommendation, we came across this gem of a restaurant. Thanks to Franca and her husband (Chef), you can be sure to receive authentic Italian cuisine and service. We highly recommend this restaurant, which is one of the finest dining experiences in Ramstein Miesenbach The restaurant was completely remodeled and presents a very elegant and comfortable ambience. Excellent menu options, prices, extensive and top quality wine and beer selections (we had the Chianti, which was superior). We also had the tagliatelle salmone and homemade lasagna both were extremely delicious, that was accompanied with a basket of fresh bread. Don't miss an opportunity to enjoy dinner at IL Pirada, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy a glass of wine (or favorite beverage/drink), as the chef prepares each meal fresh. It may take a little time to prepare the meal, as all meals are prepared individually by the chef, but is worth the wait. We cannot wait for our next visit to Ramstein Miesenbach (Hotel Europa) and having dinner multiple days at this true gem of a restaurant/pizzaria. Thank you Franca for your sincere hospitality!
